Glass work is fragile and sometimes heavy; shipping charges reflect those qualities. Living in Taos is a great benefit when shipping artwork because there are several very qualified shippers who routinely wrap and ship art created in all medias. My preferred shipper recommends FedEx because of their reliable delivery record. If you purchase a piece that requires shipping, the cost will be dependent on the shipping zone, weight of the work, and amount of packing materials required for safe handling. I will supply a shipping quote before you purchase an item if you request one. For some larger, special order pieces, the preferred shipping is motor freight in a custom built crate. Getting each piece of glass to the customer without damage is the shipping goal and I will find the best and most economical method to achieve that goal.
